Our Company History:
Small businesses are the backbone of Oregon's economy, Jim Thorp Lumber Products Inc. is no exception. Jim started our company in his backyard in 1985 building pallets by hand with a small chopsaw and hammer.
Quickly outgrowing his backyard, Jim purchased a small shop with 20 acres on the outskirts of Yoncalla Oregon. We are still located on this propery today.
Through dedication and hard work Jim has expanded his business to include Pallet Stock, Lath, Kilnsticks, and now Easy Pick Micro Shavings. Now we proudly have approximately 70 employees in our production crew and truck drivers.
Jim's philosophy has always been to provide quality products, excellent customer service and timely deliveries.
